BT4 programs

Hay guys,

i am a n00bie, there i said it :P anyway i was wondering that the software used in bt4, eg the network cracking applications, are they available for other linux based OS'. eg ultimate edition 2.1

Or would it be better using BT4 beta the that linux OS.

any information would be greatly appreciated about bt4 vs others
