    Default Opinion Asus Computers

    Hi,
    Just getting started...

    Looking to purchase a computer that is factory loaded w/ Linux. Prefer a notebook, maybe even a netbook. Something mobile to run BackTrack3 on.

    All well informed opinions are greatly, greatly apreciated.

    There are lots of posts on this. From my personal experience my work gave me a Asus N10J and I like it. I am not crazy about the atom processor but it meets my needs and runs BT4 beta fine. Lots of users here will tell you the eeepc is good and they have a great support forum (http://forum.eeeuser.com/). Hope that helps. Which PC were you looking at?

    eeepc1000h is a good pentesting platform if you don't care about the microsmall screen resolution. Otherwise, use something bigger with 13" or 14" or bigger..

    I, too, am using an Asus N10J-A2 and it works like a charm. I think it's the best netbook out right now.
