Default Dell Inspiron 1525 wireless with broadcom 4312 not working

Hi, just like in BT3 the broacom chip still not working.
The card model is Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN MiniCard.

    What shows on lspci -nn:
    0b:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g [14e4:4315] (rev 01)

I hope it can be fixed for the final version of BT4.

    thx.

Ah, good to see another Dell Inspiron 1525 user about. Gotta love that broadcom driver eh? Well, with a bit of googlin' I found this wonderful tutorial. This got me up and going in a matter of minutes. This article also teaches you a thing or two about how linux works in general.

    Code:

Enjoy, let me know if you need any further help.

Hi. I have the driver ready to be inserted on BT4 for a Dell Wireless 1395 WLAN MiniCard.

Has anyone know how to contact the builders to send the driver to them?

    Regards,
    Carlos.

    paradox77 thx for the help!
Its kinda works for me, on wifi manager its finds some networks but in iwconfig it shows the wireless adapter in eth0, same as local adapter, and in the ifconfig show only the local adapter in eth0.

Looks like both are using same number, and when I try to use airodump-ng for exemple it doens't work. Any ideas?

Mine works great on a Dell D810.
On the other hand i have another D810 that picks up the card as Wlan0 but doesnt show anything when i run Kismet or Airodump.
Changing to monitor mode works fine with airmon-ng.
