I've tested this wireless card and it works out of the box in BT4b. The card startup procedure differs a bit since BT3.

Card: WUSB54GC
Driver: rt73usb
Interface name: wlan0
Monitor mode: OK
Injection: OK

The commands I used to test:
root@bt:~# macchanger -A wlan0
root@bt:~# ifconfig wlan0 up
root@bt:~# airmon-ng start wlan0

This brings up a new interface called mon0. If you try to use the wlan0 interface, airodump will fail so you have to use mon0 instead.

root@bt:~# airodump-ng mon0

Lists a number of access points tho the power is displayed in negative values. I didn't get any successful injection results while the card was in channel hopping mode so I had to manually specify a channel with iwconfig before invoking aireplay-ng and receiving a response from my AP.

root@bt:~# iwconfig wlan0 channel 4
root@bt:~# aireplay-ng --test mon0

not only linksys WUSB54GC.all the rt73 chipset based card will work fine in BT4.cause things are not depend on card model or manufecturer instead its solely depend on chipset.chipsets which were working fine with BT3 will work as well with bt4.as newer developments means having compatibility as well added latest functionality.

the wireless card works great, until it starts to over heat then the packet injecting starts to fall rapidly.

EDIT: wlan0 works fine dont know what you are doing wrong
