Hi,
just thought i'd let you know as i see posts in non-working hardware stating it as not working.
I just cracked my own wep, both monitor and injection work for me with bt4beta straight from the live cd with no changes whatsoever.

Hi butmuncher... what chipset is your alfa, i just purchased a usb unit same model as yours which i thought would be atheros based but turned out to be ralink chip based.. think im havin probs.

how do you find out which revision you have?
My alfa uses the ralink chipset and works right out of the box with bt4b.

hi it has the realtek chipset rtl8187

thanx for the reply m8... mine is injecting now.. my bad. Although i dont see any super improvement in range...like someone in another thread said..maybe the BT2 drivers run better for this alfa

the range is awesome with the alfa card. but the key is to have a good antenna.

Cheers..was me and not the alfa...managed to get going in bt4.. was great and works fine
