    Default Lenovo s10e BT3 experiences/tweaks

I have purchased a lenovo s10e. Since some stuff doesnt work properly out of the box.
Someone else might post his/her tweaks to get everything running smoothly here.

    1.) X11

X11 wont start up properly. The same workaround thats available for the eee works here also. See
    forums.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?t=16340&page=2

    2) WIFI

The built-in broadcom wifi chipset (BCM4312[14e4:4315]) is currently not supported by the BCM drivers and as far as i cant tell doesnt work with madwifi also.
It seems the only way to get at least SOME wlan funcionality is to download the broadcom hybrid driver.
    broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php
This driver though supports only basic functions(including wep && wpa), meaning is not useful for security research.
Anyway Lenovo obviously did not as they did for other devices put any whitelists for hardware into the bios, so changing the mini pci express device is smooth and also well documented in the Hardware Maintenance Manual.

p.s. not beeing able to post the correct urls, sorry

    Question

Hi like yourself I have / had the same issues,

    1) I replaced the mini pci wireless card that was shipped, very easy to do and now that works fine.

    2) I'm really struggling with the graphics, I've read that I need to use xserver-xorg-video-intel driver however I'm buggered if I know what to do.

    any ideas?

Well after some serious google-fu I manged to find a fix, however I done two things and I'm not sure what fixed it so here goes,

    1) I downloaded and lzm2dir the eee pc 901_net_gfx.lzm file, placed the lzm file in my root and lzm2dir

Once I done this and restarted X I had a resolution of 1024x600 great, the only thing is on the S10 the resolution you need is 1024x576!!

    2) Found this xorg config and pasted it in
