proxychains is a simple, no frills utility that works for me quite well when I need to put in address of my network's proxy in programs that don't have means of using proxy by themselves. I haven't tried using it for anonymity, just connecting to internet from my network

Bumping the hell outta this, started using tsocks this morning and just found out about proxychains. Its amazing what it can do, no frills, no bullshit .. it just simply works.

Anyways after a little search apparently it was installed in BT2 so that leaves me with 3 questions as to why its no longer here.

Is it because no one uses it? Is there a better program out there? Or simply you don't feel the need to "instigate trouble"
Using backtrack for the first time is like being 10 years old again with the keys to a Ferrari.
