    Default secure delete

    Hey,

if your business is security related you have to delete your files in a secure manner. For windows there are some tools like eraser [1] available. For debian based linux systems you can apt-get the secure-delete package.

    Code:
    apt-get install secure-delete
then you can use "srm" for deleting the secure way or you can use "sfill" for deleting the unused disk space in a secure way. There are some more tools in this package ...

Maybe I'm missing something here. Why not just use the shred command?

It's not only the secure remove from a file, with this suite you can also delete your RAM, your SWAP and your free disk space in a secure manner.

Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

Dude, you're polluting the environment that way.
I have the card in me head, but you have the memory problems?

Yea, but this is still way cooler. Besides, there was only a little paint on the case, everything else was just metal melting. The forge runs on propane, so it doesn't pollute too much. At least not as much as the coal forge....
