try aireplay-ng
Hi ,
I Have Downloaded BackTrack 3.
I have Broadcom 802.11g wireless Card.
There is Problem In cracking WPA:
when i typed the following :
airplay-ng -1 0 -a [bssid] -h [mac address] [device]
Result:Bad Command.
Bash , Bad Command .
Nothing happens....it said " Bad Command".
Please help me ! i cant inject ...
try aireplay-ng
the command is aireplay-ng not airplay-ng
Cracking directly without knowing basics,always leads to pandora's box.
1) There's no point in "cracking" your own AP, if you've configured it following industry best practices you have little or nothing to worry about. Stop wasting time and effort, it is FACT that given sufficient time/resources/interest WEP/WPA can be broken.
2) If you're not "cracking" your own AP, chances are you're doing something ILLEGAL.
I'm a compulsive post editor, you might wanna wait until my post has been online for 5-10 mins before quoting it as it will likely change.
I know I seem harsh in some of my replies. SORRY! But if you're doing something illegal or posting something that seems to be obvious BS I'm going to call you on it.
thorin is completely right. If you have physical access to the AP, try better to reset it...
And even if you try, maybe you should consider first to read about WEP Cracking and then go the step to WPA/WPA2
