Yes, you can do it without any complications, its just not advisable to do so within root account, but this sort of information is free (open [as is Linux!]) people seem to forget this. If you haven't figured out how to do it yet PM me. I use it as root myself for shits and giggles, on an AAOne sweeetly!, but I know what I am doing, I might get shot for it but its no biggee.
