For all those poor Hp Mini users like myself that might have been having problems with getting Backtrack3 up and running I finally stumbled upon a fix that is working flawlessly.

Goto this website and read about how this guy added a modified ASUS 901/1000H .lzm file to his syslinux config file to make the resolution correct in Backtrack.
