please I have the same error and i have already burnt the dvd again.
can anybody help us?
I'm having the same exact problem. I have re-downloaded, re-burned, checked md5, and only have one disk drive on my laptop.
I also tried it on my desktop and got the same exact error. The only thing I haven't done is burn at slower speeds and haven't tried booting from USB due to my lack of experience there, plus I would rather do a boot from the live CD. So other than that what else can I do? If I have to the I guess I will have to give it a try by booting from USB if my laptop supports it.
I've just booted with the same DVD disk on a Toshiba Laptop and everything worked fine...so the DVD-drive could be the problem in the case mentioned above ? I 4got to say that on the same machine (Sony Vaio) I coul'd run the Backtrack 3 CD at all, BT4 booted till that error appeared!
yes it can be a drive issue.. if the 0 and 1 dont get where its going as a 0 and 1 then you have media failure due to all the reasons listed.
