    Default Print screen

Was looking around and did not find how one would do a print screen while in back track. Would anyone be willing to help me out here?

    Thank you!

remember that you can try google for things that are "generic linux help"

try CTL+PrtScr move screen to clipboard

or on the menu as application ksnapshot

    either will grab a capture

Or if you just want a simple picture then use ksnapshot, its in the menu tree.

or you can open a terminal and type "import (filename).jpg" and take a screen shot with imagemagick

So after going to the menu tree and clicking on ksnapshot, there appears a nice shot of the current screen. Now I had wanted to print this screen shot to a networked printer. After opening the printer menu, I surmised that before I can do that, I need to configure the printer in BT! Well perhaps, since I have no idea how to do that, a kind generous soul would point me in the right direction.

    Many Thanks!

Googled " setting up printer in ubuntu" as suggested and it appeared to be a relatively straight forward process. Loaded my live cd and then pulled down the K-menu. Went into system and there the paths diverged from the information that I had retrived. Following K-menu, I then went from settings to hardware to devices and then printer. While there, I saw no way to add my printer. Went back in again, this time to USB devices and saw my attached printer listed under the High Speed Hub. Was not able to do anything here. So, still looking for help or a push in the right direction.

    Thank You!
