BT4 Hard drive install problems

Hi all,

I am having a problem with the hard drive install of backtrack 4 beta. I have the instructions found here hxxp://offensive-security.com/documentation/bt4install.pdf. When the install gets to /proc/kmsg it just hangs. I am using cp --preserve -R -v to see whats going on. I have followed the instructions to a t and this is the 4th time starting over with out sucess. Just hangs on '/proc/kmsg' -> '/mnt/bt/proc/kmsg'. Any help on this would be greatly apprecated.

got it to work thanks. Took a really long time on this laptop to copy the files over

the really long time is due to cp --preserve -R -v (and specifically, due to the -v switch).
If you have not used the -v switch, it would have been much, much, much faster.

what did you do to fix it you gave no idea as to what you did pls.allaberate..thx

because im haveing troubles not realy problems i guess.. but im getting this at boot up
