Mini pci express
Hey guys,
to the point(ill post the less important stuff below):
So i would like to order a mini pci express card that can inject i have been reading through the compatible hardware thread but i haven't actually seen one in there that seems to work, also it mostly doesn't state what type of a device it is.
Yesterday i opened up my laptop to attempt to fix something and i noticed that i have 2 mini pci express slots and even 3 antenna cables free.
Now i have a 4965agn inside right now but injection doesn't seem to work and it seems that this card has always been trouble.
If somebody could point me in the right direction that would be lovely.

Someone reported success with it while on the other side someone not.check with this link and if you are able to get it work,you will get 2 interface one for monitoring mon0 and another one for manage mode wlan0.

Yes they would, though not always.They like broadcom, or as the Amish guy calls them broadcum.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

I did try installing the new driver but it didn't help and the weird thing is,
Injection did work once and then i tried again on the same AP and it didn't work.
maybe it's because i HAVE to reboot after the patch but i don't have persistent changes (which i like because i am afraid i will break BT4).
Is there maybe a method to save changes just once with one USB drive (it's on that drive)

Yes you can have a "save changes" partition on a usb. The good thing about it is if you mess up you only have to delete the one "changes" folder and then you have a "fresh" install.Aha so broadcom any specific card?

You just need to edit syslinux.cfg to reflect where you want the changes to go to.
For instance:
where = /dev/sdb2 is the partition where you want your changes to go to.Code:changes=/dev/sdb2
Also don't forget you need to add a directory to this partition named
changes first.
