    Default Update to slackware 12.2?

    Hi, i have a question.
    How to update Backtrack 3 from slack 12.0 to 12.2?
    I use the repo of slack 12.0. Tnx

    Search the forums there is a tutorial on here for doing just that by
    dr. green I believe.

    You can upgrade from 12.0 to 12.2 but you need to do 2 upgrades. According to the official Slackware documentation you should upgrade in minor version increments (ie. 12.0 -> 12.1 -> 12.2).

    I haven't find the post of drgreen...Thanks for link larryhaja...I have one question...With upgradepkg --install-new i update the packages installed or install all the packages in the dvd?

    Although it is for bt2 it can be adapted for your needs.
