Installing bt3

Hello, I just bought my new acer one netbook and it the shit very cool but Ive been google and using the the forums search engine.Is there a way to install backtrack 3 when out a cdrom drive? I have a usb drive it a SanDisk Cruzer 8 gb but for some reason i cant boot from it my Acer One, it support usb booting but not this kind i assume. Normally i would play around until i figured how to install bt3 but im scared because i dont have an usb cdrom, so if i messed up that would be the end of my acer one net book until i get cdrom drive.So i figured i would make a second partition and install grub and try to figured out how to install bt3 but i don't know to scared to try. I'm a little intoxicated right not so Mod/Dev if this is in the wrong section please move it.

or... just run the bootinst.sh or bootinst.bat scripts once the files are copied from the iso to the fat flash drive.
