you dont need to Patch it or any thing
My BCM4318 works just fine on BT4b without any problem. In fact it works fast efficiently without any sort of patching or recompiling anything, "out of the box" you might say.
All sorts of attacks work with injection speed of 500 pps.Code:root@dell:~# aireplay-ng -9 mon0 08:28:09 Trying broadcast probe requests... 08:28:09 Injection is working! 08:28:11 Found 1 AP 08:28:11 Trying directed probe requests... 08:28:11 00:21:27:XX:XX:XX - channel: 11 - 'TP-LINK' 08:28:13 Ping (min/avg/max): 1.167ms/52.256ms/157.530ms Power: -60.07 08:28:13 30/30: 100%
You might note it's mon0 in lieu of wlan0 if you started your wlan with airmon-ng.
Cheers.

i feel really dumb to ask for help when in general i can find the information i need over the internet. man... i have been searching 3 hours for something to help me understand what i am suppose to do and i am not understanding the steps i should take. i really need someone's help.
i have a white macbook with a built in bcm43xx broadcom wireless card. i also installed bt4 pre-release onto my system via parallels (latest update) and my wireless is not working. i understand that downloading some driver and patches can get it to work but the issue is, im a newb when it comes to linux and all it's jargon. i have taken the steps to get familiar with the OS and i really like it but this stuff that im trying to do seems to be way over my head.
if anyone could so kind to help me i would greatly appreciate it.
*ultimately, im trying to use the packet injection feature within bt4*
thank you for your time and support,
