Hey,
for using GDM as login screen you can install it via apt-get:
then edit the configuration "/etc/gdm/gdm.conf" and allow the root login:Code:apt-get install gdm
otherwise you are not able to login after the next reboot (if you are using the bad root account as your main account).Code:AllowRoot=true
After the next reboot gdm starts automatically and can login via the graphical interface. Now you are able to configure your gdm with "gdmsetup"

Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
I'm sure that everyone who can install BT is able to start the network :-D
