ALFA AWUS036H 500mW! Very slow getting IVs

I am using the final version of backtrack 3 and i have done everything correct but i cannot get my wep key because it is too slow picking up IVs it would have to run days before i get at least 5000IVs does anyone know a solution on how to speed this up. Cheers any help would be appreciated

You do not give us much to bite in here. Which attack are you using to speed up the generation of data packets or do you use any at all? If you are unfamiliar with the whole process take a look at this tutorial. If you know the correct steps, then please provide us with all commands that you use and additional relevant information so that we can help you out.
