    Default Ivs/ARP problem

I am new to backtrack, so i am interested in cracking my own router. My interest is to receive admin rights to the router settings. How would i approach this? Hydra? i would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you.

I have 1 more question off topic. I am trying to WEP crack my router which is 128bit. Some times i am able to collect the ARPs, and other times it takes forever to collect them, or i do not collect them at all. Is their another way to provoke the Data off the bssid?

    Certain routers have certain issues.

What type of router is it?
there are threads throughout the forum dealing with this exact question. use the SEARCH
Somewhere in here you will find a link to a site that has exploits for most all software you'll just have to do some read'n to find it

    Example:

These are the commands i am using to provoke the router.
    Code:
    aireplay-ng -1 0 -a (bssid) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 -e (essid) wlan0

    aireplay-ng -3 0 -b (bssid) -h 00:11:22:33:44:55 wlan0
    I am using Alfa AWUS036H (chipset RTL8187)

Seems when i am attacking the router with this, it takes forever/never until the ARPs start climbing.

    yes i have.

I am just having a problem dumping the IVs. Seems the ARP will not start. I need another method of jump starting them.
