usb stick not recognized

I am using vmware 6.5.1 and i trying mount usb stik (CRUZER 4GB)
but no luck

Have you turned on usb-support in vmware? (if such a thing exists, that is. I know it does in virtualbox. Worth a shot)

There is an option to connect removable devices in VMWare. You can do it either with the vm running or add it to the hardware of the vm.

Could you be a bit more specific as to what you did and what happened?
posts stating that "nothing happened" really do not help us out and as such generally garner the same in a response.
