error message booting with live cd

hi
when i boot with my live cd using my laptop
(toshiba A305)(4GB ,2.2 core2duo...)
a message come with a error server ...(hardware not supported...)
it tell me to try to copy the file BT4 and put it in the c:/ of my hard drive
i do that and the problem was fix

how can i launch my live cd without copying BT4 to my C:/
with this laptop i can't boot with a live usb(i update my BIos and change priority and the same problem have not change,with BT3 final)

I had the same problem and in my case it seemed to be related to the DVD optical drive wich had some kind of troubles in reading the DVD disc.

I made an USB bootable media from the ISO and it booted BT4 without any problem.
