Sorry, I don't know about windows or its' programs. Good luck, Kurt
Hi to all,
I am running Windows XP SP3 on my laptop as a host pc and as guest I have installed Backtrack 3 Final under Virtual Box.
I've tried everything possible to have my Alfa 500mW AWUS036H USB wireless card to work under Virtual Box.
Do I actually need to disable the card from the host and then try to enable it under Backtrack 3 in virtual environment?
Please can someone kindly tell me what I have best to do in order to get it up and running.
Thanks in advance!

I only posted to one of these threads, (not this one). Anyone understand how the post above this got here? And it just happened again!
No, I just posted that once.
Please can someone tell me how I can have full control of my USB wireless card under Virtual Box? Which parameters do I have to change in Virtual Box settings in order to get full control of the device?
Thanks in advance!
I think you are wrong my friend.
You still can use any of the usb wireless cards in backtrack 3 under virtual environment and I am 100% sure. This was the reason why I bought a usb card.
What I need now is to have some instructions of how to get it to work..
Thanks anyway!
Virtual Box has a setting for taking over ethernet and wireless ports
Sometimes I try to fit a 16-character string into an 8–byte space, on purpose.
yes you have disable the card fromt he host
work out the boxon vmware click on top tool bar
1. VM > Removable Devices > *mine its said Realtek usb Device yours maybe diff* > click on "connect <disconect from host > which it's going connect to vnware
hope that's help.
