But injection DOESNT work.
That means you can crack WEO only if yourr target is connected an no clientless attack.
Also airmon-ng DOESNT recognize chipset - only device.

Are you guys using wpa_supplicant to fake auth not aireplay-ng, if not you should be

I have not had any problems with injection at all but have updated the driver and firmware anyway and everything seems a little more stable now.Fake auth doesn't work but there's a workaround: using wpa_supplicant. Deauth seems to be buggy
This is what I did, if you still having problems this should solve it
Download the necessary files

Get the necessary patch and patch away (there is another but was not needed)Code:tar xjvf compat-wireless-2.6.tar.bz2 cd compat-wireless*
build the modulesCode:wget mac hxxp://patches.aircrack-ng.org/mac80211_2.6.28-rc4-wl_frag+ack_v3.patch patch -p1 < mac80211_2.6.28-rc4-wl_frag+ack_v3.patch
and reboot to be sureCode:make make install make unload echo "options iwlagn swcrypto=1" >> /etc/modprobe.d/options make load

After this step of putting in "sudo patch -p1 < mac80211_2.6.28-rc4-wl_frag+ack_v3.patch"
It ask me for "File to patch:" What do I type??

I get Chipset Unknown and injection doesn't work. I'm in the process of getting the chipset to reconize and then see if that is the problem. This Chipset unknown shows both on BT4 and Ubuntu Intrepid
My chipset isn't recognized but injection works fine.
bbandit are you running 'out of the box' or with different drivers/firmware?
after folowing arc's guide everything went fine untill the make install i got bt4 on usb and i keep on getting this
