Many people (including me) had problems with this wireles adaptrer set(old kernel).

Last night Ive downloaded BT4 BETA and with great happines can confirm that IT WORKS.


MSI GX700 laptop.

Already craked couple of WEPs.

Could you put the steps to crack a WEP?
Because i have a laptop with a intel wifi 5100 and i have no luck.

hello people, i try crack a wep wireless...and i can´t....because:

my adapter is 4695AGN with BT4...the injection works, but the authentication doesn't!!!! i try make some scripts that some ppl put in this forum but i haven´t any luck!!!
someone have solution???

It will simply ask you for the essid, and then take care of the rest.

Make sure you are using the entire script. Verify the script you are using matches up with the one posted. It works fine.

Just run it manually, it's not that hard.

DO NOT TRIPLE POST. Just wait; if someone chooses to answer your question then good for you. If not, it's probably because there are ~100 tutorials describing this very thing on this forum and you could figure it out if you would only search....

Sorry, it wasn't my intention. I didn't know that post aren't publish inmediately, so i thought that my connection was wrong and i post 3 times. Then i realice that.

One question, generally the wep crack tutorials i find are do 3 parts:
- airodump *** to dump
- aireplay -1 0 *** to associate
- aireplay -3 *** to inject

so, to work... Must be at least one client connected to the AP apart from me ?

I can not really get the fakeauth working. I think I did everything right with the wpa_supplicant but...

root@bt:~# wpa_supplicant -iwlan0 -Dwext -c/etc/wpa_supplicant.conf
