Default backtrack vs samurai (web app)

im not sure were to ask this question but i just recently installed samurai web framework and the bt4 beta today on a Virtual box...

just on the subject of web application penetration, does the latest version of backtrack 4 beta come equipped with the same tools as samurai?

so would samurai be a good tool to have? or does backtrack carry the same tools plus more?

maybe some one who has experience on both systems could give me some of there input

From what I've seen on the website, most of the tools should already be included in BT.

Maltego is in there for sure, webscarab iirc, w3af and burp are.

But why don't you compare the tools by yourself? If you find useful ones you might bring that up in the feature request thread, BT4 is still in the beta

there list of tools on samurai is kinda of small, i can see that backtrack 4 has more then half of them already... just a thought i had, it would almost be insulting tho, if you were to create that same list plus more... i wouldnt want to cause any hurt feelings by making this suggestion so i guess i could just make this list my self but its always nice to have everything installed right out of the box...

The whole point of backtrack becoming a full distro is now you can add whatever you want and create .deb packages and every thing. Theres not really any reason to use anything else unless you want to. If you have requests save them for the bt4 threads which will be up soon.
