Try pressing the TAB key when choosing boot option and adding "noapic acpi=off".
Bt3 wont boot on my laptop, Ive tried it on my friends laptop and it works fine bu on mine I'll get a blank screen, then when I hit the power button it's start to load but it only loads to this point. (look at the picture, that's as far as the upload gets)

have you set your option in bios to load USB or CD ROM Drive (which ever you use) ahead of the other devices on your laptop?
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69
