are you sure its dt? I thought it was bt![]()
So basically when I boot the LiveCD of BT3 Final it loads normally I see the menu and no matter what I choose the system hangs(no black screens, no kernel at all, nothing happens except initial cdr fast spinning) and I need to do a hard restart.
First I thought that maybe the cdr or the downloaded file were corrupt but the cdr boots perfectly on my desktop computer, and also when I start windows on the lap I could browse inside it. Then I tried adding boot parameter "dbt acpi=off" or "dt acpi=off" at the end of the command line(after pressing "TAB") for KDE - it's pentuim 3200t dual-core. Didn't help.
I've read most of the posts regarding booting and tried to follow the advices but maybe I miss something. Thanks in advance if you got any ideas.
P.S. Btw I saw that this laptop isn't in the supported list. However I'd be happy if somebody who has same or at least based on Intel® GL40 Express Chipset laptop can confirm/deny BT3Final is working on it.![]()

That was a mistype in the first post![]()
I changed the IDE mode from the BIOS from compatible mode to enchanced mode and the cdr booted with no additional parameters. So now i continue to next step getting xstart running![]()
