eeepc 900 and 901 video support

I'm having all kinds of trouble trying to get video to work (intel 1024-600), it seems that ubuntu8.10 and winXP and Fedora9 are not having that problem.
I can't even get it to work easily with vesa-kde.

I do have to admit that asking for personal pet peeve is ...well is. And I love BT3 ...have it installed as partition on 2 other laptops and it is great . But eeepc would the perfect BT laptop. better resolution then eeepc701 and still atheros.
