I cannot get airsnarf to work with the AWUS036H adapter.

With BT3, I get the following errors:

Code:
bt / # wlanconfig wlan0 destroy
wlanconfig: ioctl: Operation not supported
bt / # wlanconfig wlan0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode ap
wlanconfig: ioctl: No such device
I was able to "see" the access point, but I was unable to successfully connect with it.

I did some searching. I found no information on using airsnarf with this adapter. However, some aircrack-ng related posts suggested better functionality with the rtl8187/mac80211 modules available in the newer kernels. So, I upgraded the kernel to 2.6.28-3 which uses the rtl8187 and mac80211 modules. Now, I get the following:

Code:
bt / # wlanconfig wlan0 destroy
wlanconfig: ioctl: Operation not supported
bt / # wlanconfig create wlandev wmaster0 wlanmode ap
wlanconfig: ioctl: Operation not supported
bt / # iwconfig wlan0 essid snarf mode master
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.
So, it is actually worse as I can't even set the mode to "master".

Has anyone been able to get airsnarf to work with this adapter in BT3?

Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can do to try to solve this issue?
