I like the idea of an 'off-grid' network built by users - we could just sling fiber optics over every fence in every neighborhood and cross roads with wireless.
Anyone up for this? I'd host a server or two..? Could even aim to be free of closed source code!
if anything ever does happen that hinders free speech on the internet there will be some massive riots, and i know personally i wont stop breaking stuff until it comes back.
