Just installed BT3 to my HDD from a Live CD. I have a wireless device not supported by BT3 so I tried plugging my laptop into a Belkin router and I get nothing. Can anyone please tell me how to setup my BT3 for a wired connection? Thanks!

I just did:
ifconfig lo up
&
dhcpcd lo
Like instructed, but I still have no IP, just the default localhost IP address. Can someone help? Thanks!

Use
lo is the local loopback, in ifconfig output look at Link encap:Code:ifconfig
look for one that says Ethernet, in my experience the wired ethernet card is usually eth0.
Code:ifconfig eth0 up rm /etc/dhcpc/* dhcpcd -nd eth0
