What's the trick for Dell Latitude D630 and wireless
Can someone explain me what's the trick to have the embedded wireless card working on a Dell Latitude D630 , with BT3 ?
Good friend of the forums
hmm, never had any problems with it. Make sure you switch it on. The switch is on the side. Run iwconfig, and you should see wlan0.
Use the wireless assistant to find and connect to your AP.
Never mind.. I got it to work... It works like a charm...
Now, the issue is that when I use AirCrack, with data capture and injection , it freezes once every 3 attempts. Pretty annoying. I have to reboot the box every time. I can open a new console, but can't do anything in it. I can't close any window.. Any idea ?
BTW, does the embedded network card support injection ?
When I try the injection test, my console act as if I am having my finger down on the RETURN key, and does carriage-return non stop.
If I open a new terminal, it acts the same (carriage return non stop).
I can't close any windows.
Got to reboot again.
