how to get the ISO image

so for what i'm trying to do i needed to download the cd image, when i did i got a winrar file that extracted into a boot file and a BT3 file. with the tutorial im using i needed to somehow get a bt3 ISO image

what might i be doing wrong here?

Use nero or infrarecorder to burn the ISO

Both the CD and the USB version of BT3 comes as a iso file already. Most likely the file opens in winrar as default because you have chosen to associate it with all files that it can handle. This does not mean that your downloaded file is in rar format or that it needs to be extracted or manipulated in any way in order to be able to burn it to a CD.
