Thanks. I tried it but doesnt work. I dont get any errors either. im using alfa 500mw wireless usb.
I will try that. I am using WPA2 encryption but I downgraded to WEP for testing.
Hope it sorts out the problem for you. once you choose to go back to WPA, you might find this thread helpful.

Cheers tron. It worked. I tried the drivers for wpa2 and then tried to connect using the WPA2 tut listed on the link provided by "killadaninja" but I cannot connect to my router.
