Default startx error: Another fluxbox after typing startx!

After rebooting I tried typing startx at start up and it would just hang on a black screen, over and over. I went into fluxbox tried typing startx in the command-line and got this error:

    Code:
    ~#startx
xauth: creating new authority file /root/.serverauth.3582

    Fatal server error:
Server is already active for display 0
If this server is no longer running, remove /tmp/.X0-lock
            and try again.
I did just that with "rm /tmp/.X0-lock" and now when I type startx at start up it goes into fluxbox!!! I'm sorry, but I HATE fluxbox. Any help would be great because I've already had to reload BT 2 days ago.

I solved it by this steps

    1.open /etc/inittab -----
    2.come to Default runlevel
    3.changed it to id:4:initdefault:
    4.and then reboot

    That worked! Thanks!

But I noticed it now boots up into KDE without asking for a password? Is there a way to set this back?

    Good

    Now from Kde Menu

    system === settings ===system administration==login manager

click on Convenience tap and remove the (X) from Enable Auto-login

Reboot . Next time it will log you in and ask for root password
