Screen Resolution Window Sizes

Well im not sure where else to post this.
However feeling very noobish.
My 701SD runs at a reso of 800 x 480 and all my configuration windows etc run over the boundaries so I cannot succesfully click OK.
Which is not making things easy to configure.
Is there a config file somewhere I could vim and change around a bit to make sure all windows spawn within the constraints of this reso plus taskbar?

Also, try holding Alt while dragging the window with your mouse... sometimes helps. (click anywhere in the window to drag)
