dial up access troubleshooting!!!
To perform a pentesting, i have set up putty on my dial up machine to have access to it.
But i have been surprised that i can't connect to it from the outside via putty.
Notice that i got response from my machine when i pinged it from the WAN.
I don't understand why a dial up machine which responses at pinging can't be reached from the outside.
May someone help me understanding what is the problem....
By the way, could someone help me finding drivers to successfully connect knoppix 5.1 to the NET via a dial up modem...It is very troublesome finding one....thanks...
