need 8 char A-Z wordlist

and then

less crunch.cpp

you will see the source, which shows you how to use crunch; An example and the Default Character Set. You could even customise it.
Note: this is for BT3f

Also there is Cain & Abel for windows. I believe that this also has a Dictionary generator.

Finally there is http://www.google.com. There are quite a few dictionary generators out there.

wow its been a while since i was last in this thread and looking back i see how much i have lurned since then. I would like to ask for --help on something if i may...

Anyone know how to generate this 8char wordlist, with 1 rule: that no 2 adjacent chars would be identical. ex. AAAAAAAB

so it would probably start as; ABABABAB or something simular. This would lower the possabilities and generate a more probable key combo.

maybe another rule, that will allow a maximum of 2 and maybe 3 identical adjacent chars.
Im pretty sure JTR is my only hope but could use some help from a JTR guru.

OK I went and looked, apparently you are getting this message?

But the solution is right below it.
There are no more download slots available for free users right now. If you don't want to become a premium member, you might want to try again later.

So I guess you will have to wait. Or try searching gendic.c in google since that is the file name. Several hits do come back. But I am not searching them for you.
Any rate did you try out crunch for this as mentioned above ?

well i will search google and see. I dont think crunch has this option, shame it would be nice. I can generate AAAAAAAA-ZZZZZZZZ but then would need to manipulate the wordlist. was thinking of 'sort' or 'cut' maybe.
