New WLAN USB Card

Hello!

I need a new external Yagi antenna for my friend. He can´t get a DSL connection. He is ~1 mile from me away, but there are no mountains or something else in the way.
I want to share my pictures and movies with him, now I need a new Wlan Card and Antenna. Which USB Card is good for it? I want to learn penetration testing for my connection, it should support monitor mode.
