Backtrack3 - Boots when Laptop PLugged into AC power, But no boot if not?

Hi guys/girls,

Backtrack USB works flawlessly apart from one interesting bug, ive searched the forums but none have had exactly the same type of situation as me.

When my Laptop is plugged into the AC power Backtrack will boot without problems.

However, if i boot with the Laptop running on battery power it will hang at the Floppy Drive fd0 command.

Anyone have any knowladge of this situation?

*update* I added bt acpi=off to the boot menu by pressing tab and adding it to the command line but i was just shown a black screen.

yes jack,
since we all here know exactly what kind of hardware you are running we can easily fix this problem. check the hardware compatibility list, post specifications of your gear, whether or not this problem is isolated to BT3 (other OS's) and please check to make sure your battery is both good, and charged.
