Question Anyone Know some Cool Shell Consoles

I've seen videos and tutorials where people are using different shells. Backtrack 3 comes with the default boring command window. I've been looking for a tabbed shell, so I don't have multiple windows cluttering my space. Any good sites to get more cool shells?

Konsole is capable of tabs which is the default shell in bt3. Just rightclick and open a new tab. You may have to show the menubar I'm not sure. I use Eterm for my shell but its tab system does not work well for me. When I need tabs I use mrxvt.

The one on the top right is mrxvt and the other ones are Eterm.

Thanks for the response. I'll look into those and find out which one I like best.

the linux section of softpedia has some pretty good stuff which is more or less regularly updated "linux.softpedia.com" i use eterm and a shell script called centershell which allows me to float a shell on the desktop. also though, if you're just looking for that cool "hacker vibe look" konsole is fully customisable so just play through the settings in that

Pretty awesome IMO... right click and you can split a console horiz/vertically -- perfect for when you need to tail something.

I'm using terminator too, but the split option I don't find..............maybe this works only with gnome and not in KDE 3.x
