You can either use LILO (after some edits) or re-install GRUB.
The choice is yours.
I've recently downloaded and installed BT3 Final to my computer. I am triple booting with Vista, Ubuntu and BT3 Final. I am using the GRUB loader to boot these three OSs. I want to update my kernel so that I can have more support for my hardware (running on a MSI GX620 Notebook). Everytime I upgrade my kernel it seems to replace my GRUB loader with LILO. I guess my question would be is there a way to stop the kernel upgrade from removing GRUB? Is there an option I missed during the upgrade? Or can I somehow just reinstall GRUB?

I imagine it would be easier to just reinstall GRUB. Thanks for your help.
This link http://forums.remote-exploit.org/showthread.php?t=18841 may help you if you want to add ubuntu in lilo
grub-install /dev/*yourpartition
Would it benefit me to use lilo? Whats the main differences between grub and lilo.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.
It seems from that that grub is easily the better option. I figured it would be. It just seemed easier to configure to me. Before I go through this crap again will upgrading the kernel fix my problem with my wifi card? I want my Intel WiFi Link 5100 to work. That as well as just having a higher version number. I really don't get linux that much yet..
