I'm taking an education called IT-Supporter in Denmark.
It is a work/school education where I vary between school, and a company where I am a so called "apprentice".
The education additionally qualifies me to be able to take the CCNA and CCNP Cisco certificate, and also Windows Server 2003 MCSE. 3 year education.
Btw, just passed and received my drivers license a few hours ago .

You're either younger than I thought, or got your license a lot later than most. Not that I can say anything, I didn't get mine until I was 21.

I'm in desktop support for a multi-national prepress application company, before that I was desktop support for the second largest school district in the state of Alaska, before that I was an aircraft mechanic, and before that I put bombs on airplanes.
Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

Small business owner. The comapny does network tech support, and infosec for other SMBs. Plus, I write tech books, mainly about infosec related subjects.

Before that I was a Forensic Specialist (crime scene investigator) for the state Forensic Lab, and administered the lab's network segment. Prior to that the jobs were: A LEO (in a variety of assignments) and an EMT. Plus I was a volunteer firefighter when I wasn't being an EMT.

Lets just hope you weren't forced to shift jobs after mixing up a commercial airplane with the intended carrier.

Currently work at a multinational bank in global custody and securities settlements, finishing up my master's degree in economics on the side.

BoFH for a public utility. Maintaining the network for all aspects of our service including a large industrial control and automation network.

I basically deal with more shit before 8am than most people deal with all day.
A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.
