...and there is the problem with wireless cards and power output. Different manufacturers use different scales/settings/designs for wireless cards. There isn't 1 standard to follow when building cards as far as power output design specs are concerned. One manufacturer's documentation (and hardware output) may give a range of 1 to 25 (25 what who knows!), another manufacturer may give a range of 2.5 to 17.6 (again, 17.6 who knows) and another may specify 3mw to 100mw. There is no standard...you need (as streaker69 alluded)to contact the manufacturer of your specific card and find out there specifics.
If you are in the U.S., the FCC may provide some info, since all cards need to be FCC certified. Use the FCC # on the card for your search and you may get some info that way.
