    Default D-link DWL-650+ linux drivers Help Please

    I have D-link PCMCIA DWL-650+ wireless card.

    I want to install linux drivers for DWL-650+ but i um unable to install the linux drivers in BackTrack

    Can u please help me in this matter.

    The driver for your card is on BT3.

    /lib/modules/2.6.21.5/extra/acx.ko

    You may have to copy the firmware to /lib/firmware:

    Sir, this means that i have to download the firmware and copy all the files /lib/firmware.
    but, i am unable to find the firmware acx100 file .. can u please provide me the steps and download link.

    There is no excuse for not using google. Use your brains for the rest of the problem, or otherwise go buy a well supported chipset.

    If you took the time to look at the link I provided, you would see it has everything you need, including an example at the bottom of the page that applies to your card.

    Listen kid, this forum is not for you. Period.

    No one here is going to hold your 14 yr/old hand and teach you how to use the interwebz. This is a support forum for a professional penetration testing distro named Back|Track. You are most definitely not a professional so I recommend that you switch over to something easier (ie Ubuntu) and start there because you aren't going to get anything here.
