    Default Splash screen in triple boot configuration Vista, back|track 3 beta & Ubuntu 8.10

    Hi,I know it's a noob thing but i'v searched everywhere and I couldn't find any posts about this, need some help with the splash screen ( I know how to install it when installing back|track from command line with the splash -s -f .... or with copying the initrd from live cd into the HD boot directory and then run makesplash command but now I am confused)
    I have triple boot configuration - Vista, back|track 3 Beta & Ubuntu 8.10.
    hda1-Vista
    hda2-back|track
    hda3-swap - for both back|track & Ubuntu
    hda4-Ubuntu 8.10
    Everything was fine until i installed Ubuntu, and now there is no splash screen when I boot into back|track. When I run lilo -v again, i get the splash screen but i can't boot Ubuntu because i couldn't configure lilo.conf to boot Ubuntu.
    This is my lilo.conf file:
    boot = /dev/hda
    prompt
    timeout = 60
    #bitmap=/boot/splash.bmp
    change-rules
    reset
    #vga = 769,771/773/792
    vga = 791
    image = /boot/vmlinuz
    initrd = /boot/splash.initrd
    root = current
    label = BackTrack
    read-only
    #Windows Configuration
    other = /dev/hda1
    label = Vista
    table = /dev/hda
    This is the part of Ubuntu's Menu.lst for Vista and back|track
    Code:
    ### END DEBIAN AUTOMAGIC KERNELS LIST

    # This is a divider, added to separate the menu items below from the Debian
    # ones.
    #title		Other operating systems:
    #root

    # This entry automatically added by the Debian installer for a non-linux OS
    # on /dev/sda1
    title		Windows Vista
    root		(hd0,0)
    savedefault
    chainloader	+1

    # This entry automatically added by the Debian installer for an existing
    # linux installation on /dev/sda2.
    title		BackTrack
    root		(hd0,1)
    kernel		/boot/vmlinuz root=/dev/hda2 ro vga = 791
    initrd           /boot/splash.initrd
    savedefault
    boot
    So,when I boot in back|track i run lilo -v, the splash screen is back but then i must reinstall the grub boot loader from ubuntu live usb stick to be able to boot Ubuntu, and after that - again no splash screen.
    Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English.
    P.S Adding Ubuntu in lilo.conf is also an option

    Default

    Solved!!!
    First I have mounted /dev/hda4 to /mnt/ubuntu and then edited
    lilo.conf like this:
    ===================================
    boot = /dev/hda
    prompt
    timeout = 60
    #bitmap=/boot/splash.bmp
    change-rules
    reset
    vga = 791
    image = /boot/vmlinuz
    initrd = /boot/splash.initrd
    root = current
    label = BackTrack
    read-only
    # Windows Configuration
    other = /dev/hda1
    label = Vista
    table = /dev/hda
    # Ubuntu 8.10
    image = /mnt/ubuntu/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.27-7-generic
    label = Ubuntu
    initrd = /mnt/ubuntu/boot/initrd.img-2.6.27-7-generic
    append = "root=UUID=a646b5d4-9efe-4b23-b156-69d437284397 ro quiet splash" (didn't work until i added this line from Ubuntu's menu.lst )
    root = /dev/hda4
    read-only
