best adapter for cracking wifi? AWUS036H?

could someone tell me what's the best adapter to go with. I bought a biquad anthena from ebay. and I need an adapter with a rp-sma connector
I was considering the AWUS036H unless there is something better to go with. I need a lot of range to catch a far away signal.


I bought a wg111v2 but soldering the cable was a pain and it gained no more signal with the antena. I guess it didn't' have enough juice. I also have a wusb54gsv2 but i hear bt support is shit.

is the AWUS036H a good choice? what is a good price ? place to buy?

Definitely go with the Alfa, it's a great card, totally supported, and a good price will be 40-50 dollars in my opinion.

the biquad from ebay makes me loose signal compared to the stock anthena

That would depend on what you want to do with the adapter.
Also there are many threads on the subject. Since you most likely did not bother to use the search function, give it a try.
